Master of Science in Engineering Management students in graduation attire. The Johns Hopkins Master of Science in Engineering Management Program

The Johns Hopkins Master of Science in Engineering Management program unites technical expertise and training in leadership and management, providing you with the skills necessary to lead technical teams, employ an engineering mindset to meet strategy challenges, and enter and advance more quickly in-demand technical industries.

In the Johns Hopkins MSEM program, students complete coursework in  two tracks:

Through Johns Hopkins MSEM coursework, our students consult for startups, discover problems worth solving, work in multidisciplinary teams, design prototypes and business plans, and collaborate with our industry partners on real-world projects.

In MSEM’s technical tracks, students take engineering courses directly from the academic department that sponsors the track, which means 1) the tracks are academically rigorous and 2) MSEM students work alongside other students pursuing graduate degrees in engineering.

Johns Hopkins MSEM program provides our students with the skills they need to enter their desired field, to become an entrepreneur, and to successfully pursue some of the most in-demand roles in technical industries, including product manager, consultant, senior engineer, and more.
