Since MSEM is a professional degree, most master’s students will be expected to cover their own tuition and expenses, though some merit aid may be available at the discretion of the admissions committee.

More information on the typical costs of a JHU graduate student can be found here, along with instructions on how to apply for additional financial aid in the form of loans.

Tuition

The typical duration of a full-time student in the MSEM program is 3 semesters.  Students can opt to attend part-time in their third semester. Please refer to the Affording Your Education page for current full-time and part-time tuition rates.

WSE Dean's Fellowship

MSEM applicants who completed their undergraduate degrees at Johns Hopkins will receive a WSE Dean’s Fellowship waiving 50% of tuition.
