World-Class Technical Training
The MSEM program’s technical tracks provide our students with an advanced education in the discipline of their choice delivered by world-class researchers in departments throughout the Whiting School of Engineering.
In conjunction with the MSEM Management Track, our students complete five advanced engineering courses in one of our many technical tracks in consultation with their technical advisor.

Additional Technical Track Details
Students must complete at least fifteen (15) credits total, and at least 3 credits per course to fulfill their technical track requirements.
Please note, the courses listed in each track serve as a general guide, but courses are subject to change. Students must work with their technical advisor on appropriate courses for degree completion.
TRACK CHANGES: Students must attend JHU for one full semester before requesting a technical track change.
Any deviations from the listed courses for a track MUST be approved by the track advisor and submitted to the Program Administrator by email. Please refer to the MSEM guidebook.
