Since MSEM is a professional degree, most master’s students will be expected to cover their own tuition and expenses, though some merit aid may be available at the discretion of the admissions committee.

Tuition
The typical duration of a full-time student in the MSEM program is 3 semesters. Students can opt to attend part-time in their third semester. Please refer to the Affording Your Education page for current full-time and part-time tuition rates.
WSE Dean's Fellowship
MSEM applicants who completed their undergraduate degrees at Johns Hopkins will receive a WSE Dean’s Fellowship waiving 50% of tuition.

Teaching Assistantships
MSEM students have the opportunity to become teaching assistants in their second and third semesters. These positions pay $16.50/hr.
